Doctor's bag

The Doctor will come out to see you if you are too ill to get to the Practice but please try to come to the surgery if at all possible as facilities are available here to enable better examination and treatment.

Please telephone (01472) 582700 before 10.00am for a home visit and discuss your symptoms with the Doctor or Nurse.

The Receptionist may ask you to describe the main symptoms and take a contact telephone number.

These details will be passed on to the Duty Doctor who may telephone you to discuss your probelm and ensure the best outcome for you.

The GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed.

You can be visited at home by a Community Nurse or the Community Urgent Care Team if you are referred by your GP.

You should also be visited at home by a Health Visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a Child under five years.
